Duplexers / Diplexers

Each Duplexer is housed in either a copper or aluminium housing with either helical or TEM coaxial resonators. Avantel Duplexer use compact high Q helical resonant cavities for low frequency bands. Coupling between sections is accomplished through shielded coaxial transmission lines, which are optimized for rejection across each filter's range. At higher frequency bands, tunable TEM coaxial resonators are used and coupling is achieved through adjustable aperture between resonators. These are basically bandpass type filters. Computer Aided Design and CNC machining process have helped these filters to achieve small size, repeatability and reliability. The filter size can be optimized for high performance applications. Duplexing is typically accomplished through a simple Tee-junction.
