As part of aggressive business development, Avantel is looking for GM-Business Development for the generation and development of both Indian and global business opportunities in the area of telecom, E-learning, IT solutions, services and products. The prospective candidate must be a pro-active self-starter, who can operate both individually and as part of a team.
The role is focused purely on new business development in areas such as Enterprise solutions and e-learning.
Job profile - Business Development and Marketing:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for the Company’s creative e-learning and ERP solutions.

Marketing Strategy, Branding and Communications, Product Management, Market and Competitor Analysis.

Determine new opportunities for diversification / expansion, by supplementing international brands with the Company’s products in Indian market.
Education & experience:
Bachelors Degree/Masters in Business Administration/Marketing or equivalent. Engineering Degree with knowledge in product development is desirable.
At least 10 years experience in telecom, IT solutions, services and products. Superior presentation and excellent oral & written communication skills are must. Experience in education sector, such as e-learning, in the recent past is an added advantage. Female candidates will be considered, if their profiles matches the requirement.
Salary package:
Rs. 15 lacs to 18 lacs p.a. However, the salary will not be a constraint for a right candidate, and will be at par with the industry standards. Performance based incentives will also be considered in addition to the above package based on the profile of the candidate.
