The vehicle tracking unit has a built in GSM Module, using which it sends positional data and alerts to the NMS at Network Center over the GSM Network. In the absence of GSM Network, optional storage module can be added to the vehicle tracking unit for storing of positional data and then transmitted to the NMS as soon as the Network advents. Users can simply log on to the FMS over the Internet and track his fleet/vehicle(s).
