Avantel had developed SSPAs covering spectrum from 10MHz to 6GHz, spanning over power output of 1W to 1KW narrow band as well as multi-octave. The products cover commercial applications such as GSM/CDMA repeaters as well as defence and space use. Systems developed uses LDMOSFETs / VDMOSFETs at UHF range and GaAs FETs at higher frequencies. Various features are provided as per customers need such as ALC, VSWR protection, BITE at turn on, Overdrive protection, Forward/Reverse power monitoring.
